Tamarindo

 

Tamarindo is a district of the canton de Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, in the Republic of Costa Rica, it occupies an area of 123.53 km2. Here is also the greater part of Las Baulas National Marine Park. The closest town is Villarreal. It is a coastal town without high elevations is bathed by the waters of the Pacific Ocean, the bay of Tamarindo, part of the Gulf of Papagayo.
